Renaissance Tattoo

I was born and raised up North a little ways, in the Moberly Missouri area and called it home till 2006. I now make my home in the country with my wife of 18 years and my inspiration, Julie.

I'm an avid fan of the rock band KISS, including having a full backpiece tattoo of their "Love gun" album cover, including their hand written autographs. I collected KISS memorabilia and have a huge collection including their origional 1977 pin ball machine.

I am heavily into audio/visual technology and electonics. At one time I ran a car stereo business on the side and still like to dabble with my own stereo and home theatre.

I've been drawing my whole life and right out of high school got a job hand carving monuments, which I did for many years till I discovered tattooing. I've been tattooing 10 years now, and really love my work!

My favorite style of tattooing is black and grey work, but I've done a lot of really interesting and fun color pieces over the years. I love seeing the different contrasts that can be created with a little bit of creativity!

When Don told me he wanted to open a studio where creativity would be king, I jumped at the chance to work for him and helped to create Renaissance Tattoo Studio, SW Missouri's premier body art studio!
